Aloha and welcome to my yoga mentorship program!
My month-long mentoring program is the pinnacle of what I offer as a yoga teacher - and my all-time favorite way to connect with students.
This program allows us to work together - even from far away (the program is 100% virtual!) - for an entire month, and provide a launch pad for you to dive deeper into your Yoga practice. My goal is that you will grow as a yogi and a human enormously over our month together, and after the fact, you will have all of the resources that you need to continue Living Your Yoga.
This mentorship is a holistic foundation that can help you create a better today, a lighter tomorrow, and the daily tools that can help you live your most radiant and abundant life possible moving forwards.
I have curated all of the lessons that I've learned in beginning my own yoga practice, applying it in real life, moving through struggles and challenges, and growing into the best person I can be. This mentorship is designed to share with you, through personal connection, the habits and perspectives that I've cultivated to make me the happiest, healthiest, and most "in the flow" that I've ever been.
Through trial and error, hours of study, and plenty of blood, sweat, and tears, I've discovered how to Live My Yoga.

If you're interested in signing up, you will choose 1, 2, or 4 of the modules listed below to focus on in-depth during our month together. One module will be a very deep study, where we dive into the intricacies of the topic of your choice during the course of the month. Two modules will be two in-depth studies of your chosen topics. Four modules, which is what I recommend (it provides you with a "taste" of everything, and gives you the most holistic foundation for beginning or deepening your Yogic lifestyle!), is a weekly study of an assortment of topics of your choosing.

*This program is a fundamental overview of different yoga topics - a great starting place for new yogis. We will discuss the necessities of the topics provided, but we will not go into too many details and complexities, the way a high-level Yoga Teacher Training may. This is a fun place to start with communication, activities, and connection - not a "strenuous" study!
1. Beginning a Yoga Practice
This module is the most popular choice for new yogis. It opens the door to what “yoga” is, the philosophy and history of it, and how to practice it yourself. This is the perfect choice for you if you’re just beginning your practice. It was created based off of the MOST COMMON questions that I’ve received teaching in-person classes and via direct messages, etc., over the internet.
If you’ve never done yoga in your life, if you don’t really know what Yoga is, if you’re a little self-conscious with your practice, or just don’t know HOW or WHERE to start... I was too.
From me to you - this module will deliver the best tricks and tools that I’ve learned over the years for opening your body, mind, and soul, to the world’s most healing practice.
2. Pose-Specific Focus
This module is designed to help you focus on a specific pose. Whether it’s finally finding your center of balance in forearm stand or simply evolving your dancer pose into a deeper, fuller, “prettier” shape, this module is designed to focus SPECIFICALLY on that pose. I’ll teach you a great warm up sequence to open the right muscles in your body for the posture, strength and flexibility exercises to do in your free time, other poses with similar shapes to help you embody the foundational movements, or even a bit of backstory on the Sanskrit name and translation.

3. Sanskrit Elementary School
This module is an entry into the world of Sanskrit. Sanskrit is the ancient language of India in which all the Vedic texts, including the beloved Yoga Sutras by Patañjali, are written. It is no longer spoken conversationally today, but chances are if you’ve been to a yoga class before, you’ve heard a yoga teacher use Sanskrit terminology to describe a pose, style of breathing, hand position, etc.
This module will cover the basics in a fun, creative way. Many yoga poses that we frequently practice in class are named after animals, numbers, body parts, and famous characters from Hindu mythology! In this course we will break it down, word by word, so you can know that “Eka Pada Dhanurasana” means “one-legged bow pose” without having to pull out your copy of Mr. Iyengar’s Light on Yoga after every yoga class. ;)
This module will give you a fundamental understanding of the taxonomy of yoga... thus allowing you a fuller, deeper, and more colorful understanding of your practice!
(Includes “Omwork”, pronunciation work, and little “quizzes” and songs to sing to help you remember the basics. Do you have what it takes to graduate?)
4. Intro to Ayurveda
This module is designed to be an introduction to Ayurveda - the “sister science” of yoga.
Deriving from the ancient texts of India, the Vedas, which yoga itself comes from, Ayurveda is, quite literally, “the science of life”.
Ayurveda is often called "the sister science of yoga"! Intro to Ayurveda will go over the What, Why, Where, When, and How’s of living a truly healthy life. Wellness starts from inside, and when you implement Ayurvedic wellness habits into your life, you will make your body an even happier temple for your soul. A happy body makes a happy spirit makes a happy yogi, right?
Ayurvedic habits go hand-in-hand with yoga practice and can help you create a tangible, holistic lifestyle* around your yogic path. We will talk about the Doshas (what’s yours?), creating an Ayurvedic routine, seasonal changes and times of day, herbs and spices (and some basic recipes to kick off your new routine!), and finally bridge the connection between this medicinal path and yoga.
*Ayurveda is a deep, spiritual, complex science that has enough wisdom to learn that it would take a lifetime of study to "know" everything. This module is just an overview if you're just beginning to learn or are still asking "What the heck is Ayurveda?" This module is just an overview - like dipping your toe in an ocean that you may want to dive into deeper as you learn more.
5. Chakras 101
One of my favorite yoga topics ever, Chakras 101 will help you create a fundamental understanding of what the Chakras are, the purpose, location, function, color, and signs of deficiency/excess of each, how they connect to one another, and finally how they all connect to you and either hinder or help you on your spiritual path based on their alignment.
I will provide you with fun exercises (get ready to make some art!), images, yoga poses specific to each one, and finally how to balance them to connect with your most radiant self.
Besides, who doesn’t love rainbow colors? :)
6. Transitioning to a Plant-Based (Vegan) Diet
This module is one that I am very passionate about. Although it may seem unrelated, eating a plant-based diet and following a yogic path actually go hand-in-hand. They follow the same fundamental principles (Ahimsa, “Non-Harming” of the Yoga Sutras = “Respect All Life” slogan of the vegan movement).
During our sessions together, we will focus on how to transition to a plant-based or primarily plant-based diet based on YOU and YOUR needs. There is lots of information out there on how to generally “go vegan”, but this module is based on the understanding that every individual has different health concerns, belief systems, physical environments, cultural and social influences, and access to resources. My intention is to work with you to create a plan that is inspiring, do-able, and accessible for you with a timeframe to have you eatin' the good plants in no time!

7. Journaling Daily for Growth and Self-Discovery
Journaling is a mindfulness practice that can be used as a tool to fit into any schedule, philosophy, and individual lifestyle. Mindfulness helps us cultivate positive emotions - and thus a positive mindset, action, and energy - that radiates out from us and naturally creates a happier, more cohesive life.
Journaling has helped me clear my head when I feel scattered, remember dreams, begin a daily gratitude practice, have some serious creative insights, find my “life’s purpose”, and so much more, while providing you with a truly sacred time-capsule of your life that you can keep forever. It helps you dream up a beautiful future, sink deeper into the present moment, and reflect on the past to see your own self evolve over time.
In this module, I will provide you with some simple journaling exercises and prompts. You’ll have “Omwork” - whether it be stream-of-consciousness or writing within a timeframe or something completely different. The best part? I’ll do it all with you!
This module touches on the very essence of yoga itself. Next to “how do I begin a yoga practice?”, I receive questions on how to meditate very frequently.
Meditation is a beautiful topic, simultaneously both complex to understand and the most simple concept in existence. Here, we will explore how to start meditating and start incorporating it into your life as we work together on any hold-ups you may have, like “I don’t think I’m doing it right” or “I can’t stop thinking” or “it’s boring” or even “I don’t really understand the point of it but other people seem to really benefit from it so I’m curious...”
Everyone’s monkey mind is wired uniquely, so we will create a method of meditation that works for YOU, be it visualization, mantra, breathing, etc.
It’s time to find your connection!
9. Breathwork (Pranayama)
Breathwork, or Pranayama, is the 4th limb of yoga and is taught in almost all yoga classes today. The difference between “yoga” and “stretching” is, in fact, the breath. Using the breath-to-movement foundation, yoga becomes a flow that becomes a moving meditation, in-and-of-itself.
We will start with the basic “yoga breath” as taught in Vinyasa and Ashtanga (amongst other styles of) yoga today, called “Ujjayi Pranayama”. Once we’ve solidified this breathing technique, we will link it to our yoga practice and really feel how it creates a difference in your body.
Once you feel comfortable with this, we can move on to different styles of breathing to deepen and diversify your yoga practice even more!
10. Living Your Yoga (Yoga Sutras in Action)
This module is based on my personal format of integrating the beautiful teachings of Yoga into my life. I’ve brought together all of the best tips, mindsets, and techniques that I’ve found through study and experience that brings the ancient wisdom of Yoga into a daily, FUN way-of-life that helps you connect with your higher self on a daily basis.
This is the overall path that has helped me to grow from depression and anxiety into a life where I am happy, grateful, and surrounded by uplifting people and energy everyday. Living my yoga is the reason that I continue to chase and realize my dreams. Living my yoga is how I bring the light inside of me into everything that I do.
This module is a little more complex, and will be specified for your interests based on our opening phone-call.
Manifestation, put simply, is the art of bringing your dreams, desires, and intentions into fruition based on changing your fundamental thought patterns. In this course, we will use elements of journaling and meditation work to help you bring your hopes and dreams into reality. By changing the way you think, you will inevitably begin to change the way you act, change the energy in which you put out into the world, and ultimately change what people and experiences come your way.

The mentorship is designed around the phases of the moon, with each new student beginning their journey with a New Moon and concluding when the moon has finished it's full cycle, too.
